Welcome to Bravo Bike’s Madrid escorted cycling tours. We offer a wide range of exciting excursions, stopping off at the city’s most interesting landmarks, monuments, squares and parks, allowing you to experience the city in its own lifestyle. Our routes take us mostly through traffic-free zones, bicycle lanes and side walks. Nevertheless, bicyclists should feel comfortable cycling in a busy city environment. Our tours are also well-suited to families with children, corporate incentive events and for college and school outings. Please consult our website for group discounts. We’re also happy to arrange tailored cycling tours to Madrid’s outlying cities, such as El Escorial, Segovia, Chinchón, Aranjuez, Avila and Toledo. All our personalized tours are led by English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish speaking monitors.

 

Our Madrid basic city tour

Starting from our office at calle Juan Alvarez Mendizabal, no 19 front shop, this tour takes us past Madrid’s most important landmarks: The Royal Palace, Cathedral of La Almudena, Plaza de la Villa, then passing the San Miguel Market to the Plaza Mayor (main square). We continue through traffic-free zones to the Plaza de Santa Anna and on down to the Prado Museum and Reina Sofia Museum of Modern Art, Atocha train station, then climbing gently up to the Retiro park. From here, following a rest for refreshments, we exit the park at the Alcala Gate, continuing towards calle Serrano and Plaza de Colon (Columbus Square), then winding our way through the Chueca district to calle Fuencarral, the Plaza de España and finishing up at our point of departure, the Templo de Debod, alternatively at the Bravo Bike office, about 100 metres away.

We can organize tapas or a typical Madrid lunch to wrap up the excursion, or if you prefer, just a second drink to sit and chat. We take photos throughout the duration of the tours and burn them onto a CD, as a gift before you leave.
