Welcome to Bravo Bike’s Madrid escorted cycling tours. We offer a wide range of exciting excursions, stopping off at the city’s most interesting landmarks, monuments, squares and parks, allowing you to experience the city in its own lifestyle. Our routes take us mostly through traffic-free zones, bicycle lanes and side walks. Nevertheless, bicyclists should feel comfortable cycling in a busy city environment. Our tours are also well-suited to families with children, corporate incentive events and for college and school outings. Please consult our website for group discounts. We’re also happy to arrange tailored cycling tours to Madrid’s outlying cities, such as El Escorial, Segovia, Chinchón, Aranjuez, Avila and Toledo. All our personalized tours are led by English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch (summer only) speaking monitors.

Casa de Campo nature tour

Starting from Templo de Debod, we cycle towards the Royal Palace and the Catedral de la Almudena, then descending to River Manzanares, along whose banks we cycle – first downstream until reaching the Vicente Calderon soccer stadium. Here we cross and cycle back upstream, flanking the river until we arrive at the entrance to the Casa de Campo, Madrid’s largest park, and a paradise for cyclists with its abundance of cycle routes and paths. Stop for a convivial drink at one of the bars overlooking the lake. We’ll continue for a while cycling along some the park’s most picturesque pine-tree lined paths, then crossing the river again close to the Chapel of San Antonio de la Florida, we make a stop to visit F. Goya’s tomb and admire his frescoes. To conclude our tour, we climb back through the Parque del Oeste, arriving at the Templo de Debod,  our point of departure,  alternatively at the Bravo-Bike office, located some 100 metres away.

N.B. This tour is designed especially for those who prefer to enjoy natural surroundings, avoiding traffic, without major challenges, but nevertheless for maximum enjoyment of this spectacular route, requires us to be in good physical form, since after the descent to the river Manzanares, we must climb again to reach the city’s old quarter.
