Trentino – Veneto by bicycle

From Bolzano to Venice

Sculpture in Italy by bike

A short distance through South Tyrol’s vineyards and along the Àdige to Trentino. Lago di Garda will be included, at the southern end of which the tour leads to Veneto and then in the Po Valley. Famous cities such as Verona, Vicenza and Venice are either stage destinations or located on the way. They promise an extremely interesting bike tour. A boat journey on Lago di Garda and possibilities to visit the thermal springs of “Abano Terme” take care of rest and more variety.

Route features

The route is flat as far as easily hilly; the only strenuous part is the Monti Berici. The first two stages are predominantly on bicycle paths, southern and eastern from Lake Garda you cycle mostly on economy paths and side roads. As a result of missing bicycle paths there are a few, short sections on streets with heavy traffic. Almost continuous asphalted ways.

Parking/arrival and departure

Public car park garage about Euro 60 per week, walking distance 5 minutes, no reservation possible, payable on spot. Unguarded parking for free outside of the city centre.

There are many train connections at your disposal. In a limited number the return transfer to Bolzano is also possible by mini bus in the morning on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Euro 55 per person, bike included, payable on the spot, reservation necessary). Electro bike available at the price of Euro 140

Guided tours

Everything is organised to the point and we are always with you – with an accompanying bus and a tour guide. He organises everything for you, always striving to top your experience. The driver of the bus is not only a chauffeur. His task is to complement the tour guide, to organise sight seeing tours in advance, to prepare picnics with typical specialities. Unobtrusive company, he is always ready to take you on board if you feel like it. As a mobile service station he also assists with minor technical problems. You cycle in groups of 8 to 20 persons.
