Dear Pamela, dear Kaspar,
snow over Leipzig: The whole night it was snowing and the day too. The
winter came back and I just remember the sunny great days in spain.
Especially the fabulous bravo biker beats all records in terms of customer
care: Thank you both.
It was difficult for us just to jump into the plane and leave spain,
because it was may be too short, but intensive and rich.
I believe - if I reflect on these things - Bravo Bike is not a tourist
agency more than a get together of comfortable situations, people, nature and
spirit. I thougt of a network or a community than a tourist agency.
Back in germany we found our son in a good mood and my parents wouldn´t let
him go to leipzig.
As I phoned them yesterday my father said promptly, that it is some boring
without the small twister Friedrich.
I sent you a small picture of his christening.
All the best.
Michael, from Leipzig

Dear Pamela and Kaspar,
I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back in touch. I had meant to write earlier but have been trying to get caught up with everything back home in Minnesota.
I wanted to thank you both for such a wonderful trip. It was probably the best vacation the 4 of us have taken together. Your calming presence, your easy going manner and wonderful attitude I am sure has a lot to do with that.
This trip was exactly what we needed, and it fulfilled every hope I had for a great vacation.
I loved seeing Spain, particularly the way we saw it. The towns and villages were amazing and I never would have choosen to see them. The biking was pleasant - something we could all enjoy. The meals were great and the conversation accompanying them were also great. All in all was something I will never forget.
Shaina had a good 2nd week in Spain. She is actually in Minnnesota with us now, taking some pictures of the doctors in my practice, and picking up her dog to take home. Jessica is back in Israel, working hard. The pictures are great but there are none of Kaspar which is a big disappointment. Fortunately Shaina has some of him.
If there is anything I could do to help you with your business I would love to be of assistance. Judging by the amount fo phone calls you were getting it appears as though you are doing fine just they way you are now. If you ever have the occasion to be in Minnesota we would love to host you.
Hope all is well with Michael as well, please give him my best.
Take care, and thanks again.

Pamela,
I just wanted to let you know that our family had the most wonderful time
biking with Kasper while in Spain! These two days were highlights of our
vacation. We love to bike and see the countryside, and these trips were
perfect. Thank you for helping us make some wonderful memories of our
vacation! We are looking forward to seeing the photos!
God Bless!

Dear Kaspar,
Thanks very much for the pictures of our biking trip. It was a nice experience.
The children thought it was, together with the visit to the Barnabeu stadion, the nicest thing in Madrid.
We will make some publicity for your tours when we know people are visiting
Madrid.
Regards

Hi Sandie and Friends. The only less than wonderful thing I can say about the BravoBike tour in Switzerland is that it rained a lot. My only exposure to Switzerland before last summer's trip was a few days in Geneva. This time I flew into Zurich - a direct flight from Atlanta. The tour is centered in Rapperswil, an easy drive from Zurich. Rapperswil is small, old, historic and full of atmosphere and old European culture - and situated right on Lake Zurich. The hotel (Hotel Jakob) I stayed in is on the old town square - not fancy but very comfortable, with a wonderful friendly hostess. Again, lots of old world charm. (The church on the square rings its bells on the quarter hour - 24 hours a day. Surprisingly, I got used to it and after the first night slept right through it. Before mass there would be a wonderful cacophony of bells that I loved.)
There was lots of variety in the biking - flat trails along the canals and lake; mountain passes as you get into the Alps. The scenery is fantastic! It is a very cycling-oriented area; trails are good, safe and well-marked. I found the tour guide, Kaspar, tailors the tours to the ability of the group, so you'll be challenged, but not overwhelmed. And he very cleverly found lots to do on the days it rained (I'm sure the rain was an aberration - in August I think the weather is usually very good.). We spent some time in Zurich shopping, sight-seeing, and visiting some wonderful art museums. Also went to Bad Ragaz, a health spa with famous mineral baths. What a treat!
My favorite bike trail was along the Rhine, past the Rhine Falls and through wonderful Old World villages. And I have to mention swimming in Lake Zurich. There is a wonderful facility right in Rapperswil. The water was not cold (this from a Southerner used to ocean water temperatures in the 80's!), and the view was breathtaking.
I guess you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. This was my second BravoBike tour. My daughter and I also toured in Spain, and enjoyed it very much. A different culture and history, equally interesting.
The bikes seemed new and in excellent condition - and Kaspar is right there to make adjustments and fix any minor glitches. They are mountain bikes, and easy to handle. The food is kind of German - not my favorite, although we found a lot of Italian restaurents, too. This wouldn't be where you would look for a gourmet experience. And lastly, the best part about a BravoBike tour is the service. That's what brought me back a second time: I felt very well-cared for. Kaspar not only knows the bikes and the trails, but speaks many languages and has a wonderful grasp of history and current events. He's full of information, and fun and interesting.
If you decide to go, I know you'll have a wonderful vacation. The Alps are stunning and there is nothing more wonderful than learning about an area from the seat of a bike. You'll love it. Let me know how it works out.

Many thanks for a wonderful biking tour of Madrid.
Robert, Terry, Brian and I are still talking about how much we enjoyed seeing the city and exercising at the same time. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the Spanish foods and wines that we sampled, so biking was just perfect. You introduced us to some beautiful areas and high-lighted some sights that we may have missed on our own. Kaspar, you could not have been more accommodating (lending Robert and me biking attire since our luggage was missing for the entire day) and hospitable (knowing just when we needed a coffee and tortilla). Now that we are home in Pittsburgh, PA and
awaiting the next snowfall, we certainly appreciate your follow-up pictures that we have been receiving on the internet. Many thanks for a memorable bike outing. I would recommend your company to anyone.
Fondly,
Sandy Lumish
